Coming from the Horse Heaven Hills, the 2023 Metier Sauvignon Blanc offers pink grapefruit blossom and kiwi alongside shades of gooseberry on the nose. The palate is soft and showing serious nerve with Gravenstein apples, green papaya and lemongrass notes. This is an awesome value for under 20 bucks. Drink 2024-2029

A wonderful set of aromas featuring tangerines, lemon butter on brioche and a bit of cut grass will have you craving breakfast. The wine’s acidity is quite mild and its somewhat creamy texture is home to flavors of lemon sorbet and a tiny bitter herb note similar to dandelion tea. What a great pairing for fresh goat cheese and a baguette.
